The Guardian Experience
- Your experience begins with a hands-on demonstration of Precision Immobilization Techniques (PIT) on our driving track, showcasing the strategies used to safely stop fleeing suspects. You’ll observe real-time, live demonstrations focused on use-of-force decision-making and test your skills in a friendly “Top Shot” competition on the range with our expert Training staff.
- Connect directly with our specialized teams—including SWAT, Bomb, Motors Unit,Drone Team, Crisis Negotiation Team, Air Unit, and K9 Unit. Climb inside the SWAT BearCat, hold an armored shield, and witness a live K9 demonstration.
- Inside our facilities, you’ll tour the Real Time Intelligence Center (RTIC), where technology and data are used to proactively fight crime, followed by a walk through our 911 Communications Center—the critical link between emergencies and rapid response.
- The event includes a private lunch and open discussion with Sheriff Robert Hardwick, offering a unique forum to share your insights, ask questions, and strengthen the partnership between law enforcement and the business community.

HOW WE HELP

EMPLOYEES
Employees of the Sheriff's Department often need assistance to help with personal financial needs. These needs include but are not limited to help in the event of an injury or illness to themselves or a family member creating a hardship. All proceeds from our fundraising activities go directly to support law-enforcement and their families in times of need.

FAMILIES
It is an unfortunate fact, but police officers are injured and killed on the job all to regularly. The St Johns County Sheriff Foundation uses its donations to spring into action to support the spouse and children of the injured or fallen officer. This is the most important cause of the Foundation as the County doesn't have adequate resources to support these families when they experience a loss.

INNOVATIONS
Fighting crime is becoming more and more difficult in today’s world. Our police force is required to continually purchase equipment and technology to defend against our latest threats. The St. Johns County Sheriff Foundation uses it’s donations to help law enforcement purchase these new and innovative tools to keep our families and community safe.
